Students at Grace Community School are making 3D printed buckles to relieve the discomfort of having a medical facemask loop around the ears. The mask loops around the buckle instead of the ears. The idea to print the buckles at the school came from Grace athletic trainer and Christus Trinity Mother Frances employee Carson Powell. Students from the engineering design class will be rotating in and out of the school lab as long as needed to make additional mask buckles.
