Several of the gowns on display hold special meaning for Prestige Estates residents such as the Pink Prestige Passion gown, which greeted guests at the front door and served as a symbol of breast cancer awareness and a reminder for women to schedule mammograms. The Texas Rose Festival kicks off Thursday at the Tyler Rose Garden Center.
