Students from schools in multiple countries across the world participated Thursday in a Guinness World Record record breaking attempt to have the most people sport stacking at multiple locations in one day. Sport stacking is a individual and team sport that has stackers stack plastic cups in specific sequences as fast as possible. Last year's record was 555,932 participants. The 2014 goal is 600,000 participants. Stackers use World Sport Stacking Association Speed Stacks brand sport stacking cups in timed and relay competitions.
